Readers’ Days

Join other readers just like you for a full day of book talk! Dumfries and Galloway, East Lothian and Dundee City will be hosting a day of author talks, workshops, readings, competitions, bookswapping and more. Click here for more information.

Libraries are leaving books in unexpected locations around the towns and cities of Scotland to give readers the chance to discover the best of books about Scotland or by Scottish writers.

If you’re lucky enough to find one you’re welcome to take it away with you and either bring it back to where you found it, leave it somewhere else for another reader to enjoy or return it to any Scottish public library.

Whatever you do, tell us where you found the book, where you took it and where it took you!
